Bite the Hand
If this is legit, I'm going to be seriously p!ssed:
Now if cap had gone out heroicly, saving the country/world - that would be fitting.
But to be hit with a sniper, then to get gutshot 3 times by a mind controlled SHIELD agent... Man - they punked Cap.
And one of our game group called me last night to see if I heard the news. I have a feeling tonight game will have a lot of umm... intense commentary about Marvel and this issue.
Well, accept for the fact that Terry Farrell wanted off the show to pursue other interests. I'm not so sure Steve Rogers was looking for a different superhero gig. This is nothing more than the ridiculous minds at Marvel trying yet another lame stunt to sell millions of comics.
How about putting together some quality stories? Frelling hacks.

And Frank Castle as a possible replacement Cap? What better way to follow up a stupid decision than with an even MORE stupid decision?

You do realise, don't you, that he's not likely to stay dead. Superman came back from the dead in a cockeyed fashion, so why can't Cap?
...which takes a bad plot device and cheapens it even further, IMHO.
Exactly, Michael. This is just one more lame death spectacle by the Powers-That-Be at Marvel.
Did you see that Marvel recently brought Captain Marvel back to life? ::mumbles all sorts of expletives::
