The Physics of Starship Battles
Excellent video regarding the real life physics of starship battles.
I'm more a mass driver kind of guy, myself. Especially since the US Navy is already experimenting with them. Of course, they're using the more 'sci-fi' name for them: Rail guns.

I know the guy who made this. His name is Barry and he's part of the Alpine Garrison.
